Comments:

Upon graduation, I began working at Ft. Carson, where I met my future husband. Upon my move to California and his release from the Army, he started working for Bank of America and we were married in Reno, Nevada, on November 21, 1959. We moved to Modesto, Ca. where our daughter, Robyn, was born on June 10, 1961. I was a clerk in the classified section at Hamilton AFB, an Ass't Coordinator for the draft board, secretary to ass't vice principal, and upon Bob's transfer to Eureka, Ca. I also began working for Bank of America in 1971. Bob retired in 1989 as Ass't Vice President and I retired in 1994 as Ass't Manager/Operations. As retirees, we love traveling in our 24 ft. trailer with our black and while cat named Sammie, and love visiting our daughter, son-in-law and four grandchildren, Matt 27, Whitney 25, Kelley 20, and Andy 18. Healthwise, I am doing fine after being a breast cancer survivor since 1989. That is certainly a life altering experience! Our granddaughter, Whitney, married in 2008 and we welcomed her husband, Trent, to our family. Celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary in November 2009 and also look forward to the birth of our third great grandchild in December 2011.

School Story:

As an army brat, I attended 6 different high schools, but was fortunate to graduate from HHS. I have many wonderful memories of my Senior Year - my classmates and teachers. It was so wonderful seeing so many of my classmates from the '56 to '60 years at our 50th reunion in 2007. Our 1957 website, where you can view our slide show is:
