In Memory

Joey Lujan - Class Of 1978

He was a hard working man, worked as a roofer for the majority of his life. In high school he was one of Harrison's best wrestlers. He loved the simple things in life and enjoyed grabbing a few cold ones whenever he got the chance.

He had two sons that he was very proud of. He came from a close knit family. Loved fishing and football. His friends and family will miss him.

He passed in June of 2014.........

Really Pamela?  That's what you have to say in a Memoriam?   A dare?

I grew up with the Lujan's.  Joey, Art, Monica, and they were the nicest family as was Mrs. Lujan.  I am saddened to hear this.  Joey always went out of his way to be a friend.  I can't think of a more sincere person during our school days that actually cared and showed compassion.  He didn't care about being part of a clique, yet he was still very much liked by all.  Lujan family:  I am so sorry that a bright light has now been dimmed, but please know that Joey was a true friend.

Well said Debbie!!

We actually got to spend a lot of our growing years with Art, Joey and Monica, with Rick and Sherri always close behind but what a wonderful family all the Lujans made.  Joey cared very much for his family and was always a true to life character; who was always good for a laugh, and at being a friend.  He will be missed.

To the Lujan Family; I only hope the the good lord has lifted Joey's lively spirit into the heavens, and put his pain to final rest.  I am saddened by the loss your family has experienced but please know that in his life and now in his death, Joey was always, and will continued to be loved by so many.

Rest in peace my brother...

I must also agree with Deb.  I didn't know all of the Lujans that well, but Joey was one of the nicest people I have ever known.  His passing truly saddened me.  He is and will be missed.

I grew up and went all thru grade school, jr. high, high school knowing Joey (Jose) , Art, and Monica. I was in the Springs just before I heard of his passing. Went right by his parents old house which put a smile on my face, just remembering all the good people from the neighborhood in Stratton Meadows.

R.I.P. old friend, you will be missed by friends and family.

I remember Joey from school and the reuinions. He always had a smile, and great attitude was truly a good friend. I never got to know his kids but if they are anything like him I know they are great kids. Joey was always up and always a good word to bring you up if you were down. We rejoice in the fact the Joey has gone home to the Lord but we mourn his passing. Let the knowing that the Lord is with Joey be your comfort in your hearts. You will truly be miss Joey till we all meet again in the Lord.
