Tamara Spector (Crandall ) (1981)

I knew Carol from the time I moved into Cheyenne Hills, she always was a
friend. I was the new kid in 8th grade having " moved up" a grade when
we came back from Europe, She never made any bones about it, just let me
be who I was going to be. She was steady and kind and she had a
wonderful heart. She was always there at home, a link for me when I
thought of anytime in high school or if I was in Colorado Springs I
always thought of her. She loved her life with Sal and her Daughter
Tara. I remember attending the baby shower for Tara- I think she was so
excited to have a child. There were other times we got together, but
they became fewer over the years as life changes and we go our separate
ways. When we organized the 20th reunion, Carol didn't come; I talked
to her many times in the year leading up to the event, but in the end
didn't get to see her. She knew my parents and always asked after them.
I knew her family too.

As we approach the 30th year mark - I realized what a hole in my heart was still there . I know she is watching to see what we are all about, with a smile.

Carol had a heart of gold and was true and loyal friend. I first met Carol at Gorman Junior High in band and bumped in to her from time to time over the years.
