Jennifer Gore (Gair) - Class Of 1972

Jennifer Louise Gore (Gair) left this earth to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 15, 2007 after a five-year struggle with ovarian cancer. Jennifer is survived by her husband, Monnie L. Gore of Manitou Springs, and her children, Michael and Hannah Amidei of Colorado Springs; Cody and Christa Gore of Manitou Springs; and Audrey Gore also of Manitou Springs. She is also survived by her parents Kenneth and Barbara Gair of Colorado Springs and three brothers Cameron Gair of Colorado Springs; Rodney and Peggy Gair of Canon City; and Greg and Laurie Gair of Manitou Springs. Other survivors include motherin-law, Joan Gore, and brotherin-law, Stephen and Susan Gore of Savannah, Georgia. Jennifer was born in Colorado Springs on August 26, 1954 and lived in Colorado Springs until her family moved in 1963 to Monte Vista, Colorado. The family returned in 1969, and Jennifer graduated from Harrison High School in 1972. She attended Colorado State University and graduated in 1976 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Housing and Design. In 1971, she met her husband, Monnie, who was a cadet at the Air Force
Academy. Monnie graduated in 1973 and they were married after her graduation from CSU in 1976. They spent the next 18 years in Wyoming, Colorado, North Carolina, Georgia,Texas and Italy. In 1992 they returned to Colorado and built their home in Manitou Springs. The next 15
years were a wonderful time of great love, raising her children and being involved with family activities. Jennifer loved the Colorado mountains, and enjoyed hiking and spending time in the outdoors. She was an accomplished interior designer and her passion was to make others feel
the warmth and comfort of a home. Jennifer was involved for 25 years with Bible Study Fellowship in five different cities where she served as a discussion leader, children’s leader and children’s supervisor. For the past six years she hosted the Manitou Springs Moms In Touch prayer group
in her home. Jennifer was known for her warm hospitality and loving spirit. She was a godly woman who served her Lord with a gracious, humble heart. Her ever-present joy and beautiful smile were an inspiration to all who knew her.
