Mr. Moore. I still call him that because I respected the man. He was a good teacher and a great molder of so many, varied personalities and minds. Just seeing his name evoked memories of Biology and several classsmates. Field trip to the Zoo.

Mr. Moore as we knew him, what can I say. He taught my brother who is 11 years older and then my sister 5 years older. Do you know how hard it is, when your the youngest and he knows you and the family. He was a great teacher, one teacher I'll never forget.

Mr. Moore was the finest teacher at Harrison. I will always remember his biology classes and the zoo field trip and other studies.

Mr. Moore was a great man and a passionate teacher. He introduced me to biology, taught me to love science and inspired me to become a teacher, too.  It is amazing that one person can have such a profound influence on so many lives. I am sorry that I never had the opportunity to say thank you.

My first impression of Mr. Moore was his last name that remind me of the famous movie 007 Roger Moore. My memory with his biology class was the time when I brought in  some duck egg shells which I have already eaten the yolk. Another memory of Mr, Moore was that his teaching on how to make scientific graph and understanding it. I was please because he make it so easy that I passed with a good grade. You are great Mr. Moore.

I remember Mr. Moore back in 1959 and 1960.   He was our Senior sponsor in 1960 class.    He was more than a faculty member. and my science teacher, he was a friend.    He would not talk down to us but as young men and woman going out into the world.   This is a little before your time, but I willed to him my Black and Pink shirt  (It's a thing at that time, like white shoes)   Harrison lost a good friend that day.      Ben Greenway

I only took biology at first to get a science out of the way.  Mr. Moore made it so interesting and in a very large part, led me to become the Registered Nurse I am today.  Thank you, Mr. Moore!
