Sandee and I were friends from Junior High, but we became best friends when we were 17 and that relationship continued through all the good and bad times. We planned all our class reunions together, the 10th, 20th, 25th, and 35th. Our last one in 2006, the 40th, she was there in spirit. Sandee went to college, but decided in the 80's that she wanted to become a hair stylist. That career continued as she became the director of Americana Beauty College. She had a chance to teach her skills to others. The love of her life was John. They had been married 25 years when she passed. She beamed at the sight of her daughter, Dawn and her two oldest grandchildren Willow and Duncan were her Joy. She did not live to see Brayden. I can only imagine how she would have loved him. He looks like her when he smiles. Not a day goes by that I don't think of Sandee. I miss her.
