Walter Kaskalavich - Class Of 1971

A fellow alumni Walt F Kaskalavich passed away recently he was a graduate from the class of 1971, our condolences to his friends and family. Once a Panther, always a Panther.

Walter F. Kaskalavich Jr., 60, was born September 28, 1953 to Genorah and Walter Kaskalavich at Frankfort Army Hospital in Germany. He peacefully passed away in his home February 16, 2014.

Walter was a long time resident of Colorado. He graduated from Harrison in 1971. Shortly after graduation he joined the United States Air Force where he proudly served our country in Vietnam loading bombs on the F-4 Phantom. After separation from the Air Force he became a lineman for the I.B.E.W. Local 113 Union where he remained a member until his passing. He loved fishing, watching the Broncos never missing a game or an episode of Survivor.

June of 1987 he married Carol Lorraine Knapp. They moved to California where in 1990 he got his Bachelors degree in Psychology at De Anza College. In 1995 Walter and Carol moved back to Colorado where he lived until his passing.

Walter is survived by 7 children and his baby girl Elizabeth and her husband SGT Clayton Brouillette, Criss and his wife Rebecca Seal, Jackie and her husband Josh Lightfoot, Tony and his wife Amber Seal all of Colorado Springs, Tammy Boice of Alamosa, Shauna and her husband Tim Roberts of Thomaston, Ga., Lassandra Buttman of Griffin, Ga. 28 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren. Three siblings, Mary Wiglesworth, Valerie and her husband Doug Gray, and Stanley Kaskalavich as well as countless close friends and family.
