On February 28, 2008, Paul passed away after battling cancer for several years.  

At one point, they believed he had won and he worked hard promoting music education and taking care of his students.  After leaving Harrison, he completed his Master?s degree and did multiple jobs before teaching choir at a community college in Illinois.  In 2007, his battle began again.  He continued to battle until the very end, only entering Hospice care just weeks before his death.  Wanted to make sure this news made it those who are interested.  Paul was a great mentor for many of his students and will be surely missed.


The Olney Central College newsletter for April 2008 dedicated almost 2/3rds of their April newsletter to Paul.
