John Beliz was one of my favorite teachers throughout my high school years and such an inspiration post high school I was not his brightest student, but he taught me about courage and continuating fighting for what you believe in no matter what the obstacles. I remember when my mom told me of his passing as I lived out of town. He was one teacher that I remembered with fond memories. He was a wonderful teacher and I am just one student fortunate to have experienced him in my life.
