Patsy Louise Batts-Adams, 48, passed away on August 8, 2009. Patsy was born March 17, 1961, to the union of James and Lelea Batts in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Patsy graduated from Harrison High School in 1979. She was employed by Carnival Cruise Lines for the past 10 years as a travel agent. Patsy enjoyed spending time with her family, being a loving wife and mother, and most of all making people laugh. Patsy was member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church. Patsy leaves behind to cherish her memory her: mother, Lelea Batts; husband, Jeffery; son, Victor Smith, Jr.; daughter, Jasmine Batts-Adams; stepson, Jeffery Adams, Jr.; brothers, Ray, James (Hamp), and Kenneth; sisters, Audrey, Cheryl and Vickie; and a host of other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Mr. James Batts and brother, John Foster. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, August 16, 2009, at Angelus Funeral Directors, 2535 Airport Road. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 17, 2009, Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, 617 E. Fountain Boulevard. Interment, Evergreen Cemetery.
