In Memory

Norman Sullivan

Mr. Norman Sullivan taught at Harrison High School for several years.  He had a BA from Western State in Colorado and a Masters from Linfield college and taught History.  He was also a coach for Basketball and Baseball. To his recognition the first banner HHS won "Will Rogers League" was won under Coach Sullivan. He enjoyed teaching and was a father of 4.  He will be remembered for years to come.  Mr. Sullivan eventually left Harrison to teach in Oregon and retired in the mid 90's.

Tribute received from his son - Mark Sullivan

I remember Mr. Sullivan best as my Eighth Grade History teacher and his famous "History Bees". That was one of my favorite subjects and I usually competed pretty well. The top finishers were usually Rhonda Ammons, Victoria Calu and me.

I remember how exciting it was to see our basketball teams compete for the league championship.
