Gregory Emile Carter, 43, of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Gregory was born to the late Elliott John Carter and Eura (Collins) Carter Emery in Colorado Springs, CO. Greg attended Harrison High School in Colorado Springs. During his high school years, and after graduation, he worked for his father's auto detailing company where he remained a loyal employee until his death. Celebrating Greg's life are his children, Alexia Ornelas and Gregory Ornelas-Carter; special friend, Sylvia Ornelas; mother, Eura Carter Emery; father, Exie W. Emery; brother, Kenneth Collins (Kimberly Jackson) all of Colorado Springs, CO; sister, Elexia Simpson (Kevin) of Stafford, VA; brothers, Elliott Carter and George Ross of Lexington, KY; one grandchild, Christian Madrid-Ornelas; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The viewing will be held at Angelus Chapel on Thursday, January 14 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and the memorial service will be held on Friday, January 15 at 1:00 p.m. at Angelus Chapel, 2535 Airport Rd., Colorado Springs, CO. Interment will immediatey follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
