Verna Miller Bomar

Well I moved back to Texas with my family and attended Lamar University where I recieved am AAS in Business data Processing. And a diploma for Data Processing. I worked for national Semiconductor for 7 years untill they closed the Arlington Texas plant. I am currently working at Alliance Airport for Fed ex in the Sceurity screening. I am Happily Married and have a wonderful Teenage son of 16.

Does anyone remember the Kidnapped plant from Mrs Booth? well that was a big deal and made a major impact on Mrs Booth and the way she treated all her Choirs not just special treatment for the Madrigals. I was the one who Kidnapped that plant and wrote the ransom note complete with words and letters cut from the news paper. I enjoyed the Fiddler on the Roof play It was my comming out party so to speak I was new to Harrison in my Junior Year and I was from Texas and had no clue of what Colorado had in store for me. It didnt take this small Texas family long to learn what Cold really was Texas never got that cold. But most of my memories was in the choir and home ec. department.I miss Colorado very much. I stayed there when my family moved mid year and finnished school. Then after graduation my mom and family came and took me back to Texas i will tell you I cried the entire 1374 miles.
