Ruth Stewart Woodruff passed away at home April 8, 2003 after a long illness.

She was born September 8, 1919, in Colorado Springs to Ben H. and Bessie (Knight) Stewart.

Ruth was the wife of the late Clinton "Woody" Woodruff; together they owned and operated Stewart's Photo Inc.

She was a Colorado College Alumnus, a Harrison High School librarian, District 2 School board member, bookkeeper, and housewife as well as an avid snow and water skier, golfer, bridge player and world traveler.

Preceding her in death were her husband, parents, brother and one sister.

Caring on ruthfully are her daughter, Judith Steeves of California; two sons, Stewart Woodruff of Illinois and Mark Woodruff of Colorado Springs; one sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Louis of California; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. (copied from the Colorado Springs Gazette obit)
