Michael Censner - Class Of 1978

Michael Lynn Censner July 1, 1960 – April 30, 2010 Michael Lynn Censner was born on July 1, 1960 in Canon City, Colorado; the fourth of five children to Jack L. and Loretta L. Censner. Michael passed away unexpectedly on April 30, 2010. Michael is survived by his father and mother, brothers John M. Censner, David A. Censner, Mitchell G. Censner and sister Angelique M. Lightfoot; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Michael is preceded in death by Earl G. "Casey" and Opal E. Tibbs, maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents John and Mrs. Francine Censner, LTC. (Ret.) Michael attended Abernathy Elementary School, Abernathy, TX; Fort Bragg Elementary, Fort Bragg, NC; Warrenwood Elementary, Fayetteville, NC; Canon City Junior High, Canon City, CO. Michael attended Harrison High School in Colorado Springs, CO where he was a member of the school band and drama club before graduating in 1978. Michael joined the United States Air Force on November 20th, 1980, earned the rank of Staff Sergeant before ending his distinguished career on April 29, 1988. In recent years, Michael pursued a profession in the areas of administrative assistance and office management in banking and later in private investigations. Michael occasionally provided data processing part time to local and international geological research projects. Michael worked at a children's hospital until his death. Michael enjoyed collecting clowns and post WWII china and ceramics. He also enjoyed the outdoors; loved fishing, camping and practiced gourmet cooking. Arrangements by:  (copied from the internet)
