James Henry King passed away September 29th, 2019, in Colorado Springs.

At Jim’s request no service will be held. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life at his home in Fountain on Saturday, October 5th from 11am. Please message on Facebook for the address.

Jim was born in Uchitomari, Okinawa, Japan, on November 24th, 1956 to Fumi and James Franklin King. A graduate of Harrison High, Jim joined the Marines in 1975 and returned to Colorado Springs in 1980. He met and married his life partner, Janet, and had two children, Erin and Ben.

After surviving five years with scleroderma, Jim succumbed to his illness. He is missed and remembered by his younger sister Debby, his children Erin and Ben, and all those whose lives he touched.
