Comments:

Hi everyone! I'm still here in Springs. I never left actually except for a few vacations here and there. I worked for the District Attorney's Office for many years and met my husband in the courthouse (he was a bailiff at the time) I then worked in the Probation Department for many more years. My husband and I ran his law practice until he was hired as a District Court Magistrate. I then worked as an employment specialist in the School to Work Alliance Program in District 11 and for the Colorado Division of Vocational Rehabilitation where I assisted youth with career assessment, job readiness and competitive employment. My husband, Bill, and I have been married for 39 years. We have 4 children, 11 grandchildren & helped raise 2 nieces (Pierre Wahlen Class of ‘77) We are very active in our church, Victory World Outreach, on the corner of Academy and Hancock. We have made our home in the Rustic Hills neighborhood and still love it here in this beautiful city.

School Story:

Just the other day I was remembering sneaking out of the window in French class during a film and meeting up with Brenda V.P. in the smoking area. It seems our senior year went by so fast and those of us that played around the first few years had to work hard the last year to make up for it. I remember having to swim 60 laps to get my PE credit. I did it after school and the swim teacher (I don't remember his name) would go into his office and not pay attention. I would lean on the side of the pool and yell out a number every so often so he would think I was doing it. Slacker. I got the credit - Thank you Mrs. Trogden! I was able to graduate.

ENJOY the following pictures - I've included some from our 10 year reunion!

Johnny and I were best friends.  The day my family moved into our house on Capulin Dr.  Johnny came over looking for a "kid to play with". We were in the same grade.  We liked a lot of the same things.  We were friends until the end.  Johnny passed away in 1987.  Rest In Peace my friend.
