After graduating in 1969 I attended Nebraska Wesleyan Univ for a year. I enlisted in the Navy in 1972 and was trained as a nuclear propulsion plant operator. I was discharged in 1976 with a medical discharge. I attended UCCS until graduating in 1980 with a BS in Chemistry. After a year of grad school at Univ. of Mich. I took a job as a research chemist at Eli Lilly in Indianapolis. In 1990 I resigned from Lilly to attend Asbury Theological Seminary where I received my MDiv in 1993.
