Worked in nuclear industry for a couple of years, then in the petrochemical industry. Switched careers in 1987 and became a space shuttle instructor for NASA at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. Provided operations and instructional design support for space station program. Spent a year in Star City, Russia as the science training manager and liaison for the Shuttle/Mir program. Liaison to Russian, Japanese and Italian space agencies for training hardware/courseware design and delivery.
Flight Lead at NASA's Neutral Buoyancy Lab for 5 years; providing training and development for EVA (spacewalk) activities.
Systems Engineer for Constellation Program. Developed functional analysis for Program. Chaired source selection board. Supported technology insertion selection/strategy process. Derived analysis products/priorities from end to end mission analysis. Developing integrated timelines for Cx Program.
