“Linda Alcock, age 46, passed away on October 13, 2010 peacefully in her brother Patrice (Pat’s) arms at Denver Hospice. Through her numerous travels, Linda loved the mountains, ocean and the reservation in the Four Corners area best. Linda was a (as she would say) “Jack of all trades, master of none.” Besides being a sports enthusiast, (GO BRONCOS!) Linda enjoyed music and all things coloring. One of Linda’s true callings was the caring of children. All the kid’s that ever came in contact with Linda “loved her”, because Linda was a kid at heart herself. Left Behind Caregiver and friend Vicky Rucobo of Denver, Colorado

It’s not necessarily a condolence I wish to leave, but more my memories of Linda. She had a true gift of life. The most memorable characteristic of Linda was the shine in her eyes. Everything was always new and exciting for Linda. Even if she’d experienced it before. She is truly a spirit that will live on for many of use until we join her. I wish to thank her for the time she spent here and shared with all of us. RIP Linda and comfort to all who will miss her.

What a truly giving person Linda was. How much she loved her family and friends~ She had such a love and zest for life! She had an innocence about her that life could not take away. She loved greatly. Laughter and joy followed her everywhere. I will miss you my sister.

I want to place a memory of Lindy on here. She was such an adventurer and took Alyssa and I on many adventures at susquehanna state park, she loved taking the girls in the water and playing and splashing with them. We always had picnics by the water and everything was an adventure to her. She always made our adventures interesting, you never knew what would happen next, she was full of life and love for those around her. I will always remember her smile and zeal for life that she had, and her cheering the bronco’s on with a table full of snacks during the game. The party that she threw for Alyssa’s birthday at her dad’s house and where we had so many fun times. I am so thankful that Linda accepted Jesus as her savior so now I am assured that we will meet again some day in heaven. Until that time her memory will always be in my heart

My fondest memory of Aunt Linda is the night before my wedding and the celebrating she was a part of. Aunt Linda had met my side of the family only moments and the next thing I knew, she was laughing with them, trading stories and already a part of them. The next night, after Allen and I were married, I understand she joined my side of the family in a big impromptu party that my folks are still talking about! What fun she was and how we instantly loved her. I will miss you, Aunt Linda. You brought great joy.

Linda was a very special person in my life. The twinkle in her beautiful eyes and her contagious smile brought happiness to me and to all those in her presence. The onset of her illness and its progression brought such sadness to her friends and family. She brought great joy and was so much help to me. The last time Linda was at my house she was helping me with chores, but became so ill that we couldn’t finish the jobs. I had her to lie down on my bed, brought her ice water and some coke over ice. She couldn’t eat and she couldn’t rest. I gave her a pill to calm and relax her and she finally fell asleep and slept all night. The next morning she was gone (I guess she felt better and had gone home to feed her dog) and I found a sweet not on my kitchen counter thanking me for taking care of her. Linda was a beautiful person and was so very kind to all who knew her. She will be missed!

I just found out that Linda passed away. I often wondered what happened to her. I got to know her better after high school. She was so funny and her smile was great. She was friendly and was spontaneous. I hope that the pain of her loss has turned to great memories and joy that she was remembered by many.
