Kelly Askew was the Assistant Principal back in 1962 - 1964 while I was at Harrison. What a great personality. He was always genuinely interested in the students and how they were doing and getting along. He lived on a hill above my house and would watch me shoot hoops in my back yard. We would kid about it. What a nice man who touched our lives. He is missed. Fred Stephens-64
He was principal when my older brothers were at Harrison. Still, I got to enjoy his talent and kindness when he coached our nine-and-ten year old Little League baseball team. He let me start in the outfield as a eight-year old. We (Garden Valley--remember that place?) still managed first place. Even in retirement, he always had a kind word for kids, for example, shouting encouragement as he saw me pedal my granny bicycle up Crestridge Hill.
