Comments:

I think this site has the potential of creating long lasting friendships as well as becoming a site where alumni can click on to find out about upcoming alumni events, school functions and district updates.

(Former HHSYR Webmaster 2009-2012)

Back in 2009, a group of us decided that since individuals class reunion attendance was on the downside, that we should try a different approach. We decided to organize an All Year Reunion. Small towns do it all the time, so why not. It has since snowballed into a major event that everyone looks forward to. It is an event that is bonding alumni and creating a sense of community, pulling us all together.

I would encourage my HHS friends to become mentors to HHS students, to become involved in the school and to support District #2, after all it has churned out thousands of wonderful alumnus!

School Story:

I still have fond memories of my classmates, friends and neighbors. It went by too quickly. Miss you.

One of the highlights of my junior year was that I was chosen to try out for the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, that in itself was an awesome experience.

Then during my senior year, I had the opportunity of attending broadcasting classes through PPCC, and worked a few years as a radio announcer for KWYD.

In 1984, I met and married my husband, Jeffrey Lee Tankersley.

I had the pleasure of knowing Vickie during the time she volunteered at Cheyenne Village. Vickie was a classy lady and very independent. Vickie would visit the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center donating and spending time with the Wolfs and the staff out there. She would come back with such amazing stories. Vickie was one of the few that they would actually allow in with the wolves, the wolves seemed to appreciate her presence. I always think of Vickie when I see the color purple, she usually wore something purple or carried something purple with her. Vickie, you will be missed. Once a Panther, Always a Panther. RIP

It is also so sad when I learn that another HHS alumni has passed. Know that this is a place where they will always be remembered. Once a "panther always a panther".

My first car 1965 Ford Mustang, my father was a mechanic and he restored it for me and my uncle painted it a candy apple red. I think the car attracked more boys then I did!
