Comments:

Since graduating High school, I've been married 4 times (I liked the variety! Or just really dumb! ha ha), but now live alone. I worked a variety of jobs until I finally went to nuring school in Tucson AZ after my 2nd marriage ended, came back home, worked at Memorial Hospital 7 1/2 yrs, and during that time I met a GI & married, we got stationed in Germany 3 yrs & saw a lot of Europe & I really loved it, then stationed in SC 3 yrs, then back home. I then got a job as a nurse at the El Paso County Jail & have been there over 12 years. I love camping & fishing, but my favorite pass time is motorcycling. I've been to quite a few motorcycle rally's & I still love it.
I lost my youngest brother, Bob Gillette in 1999, but my brother, Demmy, still lives here, & my sister, Delsa, lives in Florissant. They also graduated from HHS.
I look forward to hearing from some of my old friends from good ol' HHS!

School Story:

I attended Harrison school district Kindergarten through 12th grade. I went to Chamberlin Elementry, then to half days at the old Harrison High while they were building the new high school. The old one became Gorman Junior High & went there my second year of junior high, then we started as new freshmen in the new high school. Some of my best times as a youth were spent in my high school years & some of my best memories were spent with my best friend, Suzie Brooks. We were unseperable! Some so crazy it's a wonder we survived, but at the time we thought it was just having fun! Too many woodsies & parties, but I still maintained a good grade average. These were the days of the "mini" skirts and it took great skill to be able to keep our rear ends covered! I had the talent of being able to sew & made a lot of my clothes. With 4 kids in my family, it was the cheapest way to have a lot of clothes. Some of my favorite teachers, were Mr Gilliland, even tho I hated socail studies, I loved him, Mr Martin-science, Miss Nelson-home EC, & one of my very favorites, Mr Luptin-CO history. So much has changed through the years & Harrison High has a much different look, but the memories will always be there.
